Sorrow follows the story of Mila Sweeney, a forensic psychologist who is kidnapped and tortured by a couple of deranged serial killers by the names of Dale Rogers and Hersey Igor. However, she manages to escape and journey down the path of revenge. Dale and Hersey had no idea they had messed with the wrong woman when they abducted Mila.

Millie Loredo has always been a horror movie buff and drew upon some of her favorite horror films, such as Last House on the Left and I Spit on Your Grave, for inspiration for her directorial debut.

Vannessa Vasquez, currently starring as Camila in Hulu Network’s original series “East Los High,” plays Mila Sweeney. She was recently nominated for a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Performer in New Approaches to a Drama Series, and the Daytime Emmy awards ceremony will be held in Los Angeles on Sunday, April 26.

Melissa Mars is part of the supporting cast in the role of Detective Salinas. Melissa got her start in the entertainment industry in her home country of France as a pop singer. Since then, Mars has become a part of the independent film scene in the U.S. filming roles in movies like The Cabining and Curse of Mesopotamia.

Alexandria Gonzalez interviewed the trio of women. Alex has previously worked as a reporter for The Reel Story, La Prensa de Houston and The Park Record. The women had a great time exchanging stories about the making of the film as well as what they look forward to on the screening tour.
